So, my mother read this recipe a very long time ago: beat 2 eggs with 2 tbsp. l. sugar, add 250 g of cottage cheese, a little vanilla sugar, soda (that's what makes them special), mix everything well and add about 3 tbsp. flour depending on the curd. The dough should turn out to be of such a consistency that it is possible to form cheesecakes, then you should roll them in flour and put them in a frying pan.

Pour a little more than ordinary vegetable oil into the pan, put cheesecakes there (there are 6 of them), cover with a lid (this is a must!) and fry on both sides, again under the lid.

They turn out like rich buns, but fatty, it is very tasty to eat hot with sour cream. As you noticed, soda and the obligatory pan lid are a distinctive feature of their preparation, making cheesecakes buns.

I try to change all recipes so that I can reduce their calorie content and increase their usefulness.

My recipe: beat 1 egg with 1 tbsp. sugar, add 300 g of cottage cheese, a little vanilla sugar, soda and mix everything. Then add about 2 tbsp. proper flour (more on this in my article “Flour is a friend and flour is an enemy”), if there is no such flour, then put 1 tbsp. l. bran and only then add flour, but in a smaller amount, and mix everything well.

Therefore, for frying, I use rendered pork fat, as a 100% natural product, it leaves no smell and does not affect the taste. If you don't like this idea, then at least fry in ghee.

So, further similarly to the first option. We put the cheesecakes in a pan, cover with a lid and fry on both sides.
