They left those disgusting old granite pedestals! What for?
They were put up a few years ago in order to plant trees. Later it turned out that it was impossible to plant trees in these pedestals. The maximum that these granite coffins were enough for was stunted brooms with three leaves. These brooms were changed every season. In winter, small Christmas trees were planted, in summer - trees. Then all this, apparently, was thrown out.
UPD! About the wires in the photo. These are temporary lighting wires. The lights haven't been turned on yet. When everyone is done, these wires will be removed and they will be gone.
