Well-known TV presenter and financial market analyst Stepan Demura could be subjected to scrutiny by Russian law enforcement agencies for his harsh statements on the Web. He announced this to his readers in a blog in LiveJournal.

A little later, Stepan Demura completely deleted his blog on LiveJournal. Whether this is due to a law enforcement check or not is still not known for certain.

On the Web, Stepan Demura is known for his harsh statements towards the Russian authorities, as well as to events related to the Ukrainian crisis. At one time, Stepan Demura hosted a program on the RBC business channel. However, in the future, he was forced to leave there. A similar fate touched his experience of broadcasting on the once famous business radio station Finam.FM, which was later sold and renamed.

Stepan Demura first became famous when he predicted the beginning of the crisis in 2008. In the future, his apocalyptic statements attracted the eyes and ears of many television and radio listeners. Some private investors even built their trading based on his forecasts.
