In honor of Neil Patrick Harris' birthday, I can't help but crave all the Dr. Terrible Music Blog fans into my sect.
"If you want to get into the evil League of Evil, you definitely need a catchy laugh." An amazing, and I would even say "star" musical, which has become one of my favorite series.
Delight, delight, delight! This is the main feeling of this mini-series, and a complete refutation of the fact that this genre, for the most part, is simply a failure.
Let's start with the fact that such cool dudes as Neil Patrick Harris (Barney from "How I Met Your Mother"), Nathan Fillion (Castle from "Castle" staff?), Felicia Day (yes, where she just didn’t play, but the first that came to mind - Charlie from "Supernatural") and Simon Helberg (Howard from "The Big Bang Theory"). Collecting such a composition is already half the battle. However, I approached this creation with caution, because often a bunch of celebrities in one movie is a symbol of a flawed plot. But, fortunately, it was here that everything was fine.
This story is about the not very lucky Doctor Terrible (aka Neil Patrick Harris, aka Billy), who is trying to get into the "League of Evil". However, despite the status of a villain, he lives with the same unfortunate neighbor Moisture (aka Simon Helberg, yes, and here he has no luck with girls) and maintains his own music blog, where he talks about his plans for the future and answers letters fans.
In ordinary life, Dr. Terrible is in love with the girl with whom they go to the same laundry - Penny (aka Felicia Day). And yes, there is also a superhero - Captain Hammer (aka Nathan Fillion), who constantly interferes with the plans of the villain (I love the evil Barney). Well, in fact, it is shown here that evil is actually not so evil, and good is not always beautiful. And the ending is very impressive (but I won’t tell about it, let there be intrigue).
Well, the most important thing is that I forgot ... The whole trick is that they all sing, and I must admit that I do it just amazing. Yes, yes, I have already added these songs to my playlist.
